Vehicle Technician

The Job:
As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every customer receives first-class service. From routine servicing and maintenance to complex diagnostics and repairs, you’ll be responsible for keeping vehicles operating safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs and warranty work on a range of vehicles
• Diagnose faults using the latest equipment and manufacturer procedures
• Road test vehicles to identify and confirm faults where required
• Complete repairs safely, efficiently and to manufacturer standards
• Ensure all work is accurately recorded on job cards
• Identify and report any additional work required to the Service Manager
• Keep up to date with manufacturer technical information and training
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Ensure all vehicles meet safety standards before being returned to customers
• Liaise with customers when required, providing clear and professional advice
• Report any faulty workshop equipment or tooling
• Support and promote the company’s Health & Safety procedures at all times

About You:
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the automotive industry and committed to delivering quality workmanship.
You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience working within a main dealer environment
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A positive attitude and a team-focused approach
• A full UK driving licence (preferred)
