Production Operative (L1)

The Job:
As a Production Operative, you’ll be working steadily and methodically as part of a busy production team, carrying out a range of routine manual handling and production tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Turning and stacking blocks of product so they fit correctly under the machine.
• Working steadily and methodically to complete routine manual handling tasks.
• Bagging and sealing products and checking for foreign body contaminants.
• Safely operating and monitoring production equipment.
• Carrying out manual handling duties, including hand stacking products.
• Using computer and paper-based systems to accurately record operational data, including QIS and NAV.
• Following all company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, Food Safety, Authenticity, Legality and Quality Standards.
• Carrying out any other work or tasks within your level of competence to meet the needs of the business.

About You:

This role would suit someone who enjoys working as part of a team but is also comfortable working independently.

Key Requirements:

• Basic numeracy and literacy level.
• This is an active role, so you must be physically fit with no lingering injuries.
• Good due diligence and a keen eye for detail.
• A valid driving licence, as the job location cannot be accessed via public transport.

Location:
Outskirts of Shepton Mallet – Due to location of this role, driving license will be required.
