Your Role

As Lead Operative, you’ll be the driving force behind the production line, helping to ensure the shift runs safely, efficiently and to plan.

You’ll be responsible for:

Leading and supervising day-to-day production line activities
Supporting, coaching and motivating production team members
Driving the team focus on productivity, performance and targets
Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
Operating and maintaining production machinery and equipment
Ensuring strict food safety, quality and health & safety standards are followed
Monitoring product quality and production performance
Recording and reporting downtime, issues and production data
Working closely with management to resolve problems and keep production on track

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is confident, hands-on and ready to lead.

You’ll ideally have:

Previous experience within manufacturing or food production
Experience as a Team Leader, Senior Operative or Supervisor
Experience operating food manufacturing machinery (engineering background is a bonus)
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent attention to detail
The confidence to motivate and support a team
A proactive, positive and hands-on approach
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment
Strong communication skills
Strong computer/ tablet skills
