Full description

What will you be doing?
You’ll be an important part of the local refuse and recycling operation, helping keep the B&NES area clean and running smoothly.
Your duties will include:

Driving over 7.5 tonne recycling and refuse vehicles on designated routes across the B&NES area.
Collecting domestic recycling from residential properties.
Emptying recycling into the correct receptacles.
Returning recycling boxes safely to residents’ properties.
Providing a reliable and professional service to the local community.
Working closely with your team to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.

What do you need to have?
You’ll need:

A valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves regular lifting, bending and walking.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
The ability to work well as part of a team.

No previous experience is essential! Full training and a comprehensive health and safety induction will be provided.
