The Job:
To operate Food Processing machinery and equipment involved in the production of cream-based products, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and efficiency standards throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery for cream manufacturing
- Monitor production processes, filling, and packaging, to ensure smooth operation
- Perform routine quality control checks
- Record production data and maintain accurate batch documentation / traceability
- Ensure all production activities comply with procedures, food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Clean and sanitise equipment, tools, and work areas before and after use
- Identify and report machinery faults
- Able to perform some PPM duties
- Follow all health and safety procedures
About you:
- Previous experience in dairy or food production
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards advantageous
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate, monitor, and adjust machinery including fault identification and corrective action
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capable of lifting
- Comfortable working in temperature-controlled environments (during summertime it can get very hot)
