Friday 8th March marks International Women’s Day! A day which aims to rid the world of bias, negative stereotypes, and discrimination towards all women. International Women’s Day is the ideal time for all of us to not only challenge the harmful norms of gender imbalance but celebrate female achievements both in the workplace and in wider society.
According to the Financial Times Stock Exchange (FTSE), only 21 CEOs in the FTSE top 350 companies were women. An alarming survey carried out by the Trade Union Congress stated that three in five women have experienced bullying, harassment, or sexual harassment in the workplace. We at Simple Recruitment recognise that women are just as capable leaders as men are and should never have to put up with sexual abuse or exploitation in or out of the workplace. EVER.
For 2024, we’re supporting the official theme of #InspireInclusion. We’re committed to calling out poor practice in the workplace, listening to female voices, and celebrating female achievement.
Together, we can forge female equality. Collectively we can all #InspireInclusion.
At Simple, we’re not afraid to “Strike the Pose” in support of #InspireInclusion to show our solidarity with the message!
