We are so delighted to see that we are nearly half way to our target donations for Time is Precious. Please keep your generous donations coming, as every single penny goes to this amazing charity!
TIP’s first major project for 2016 is to raise funds for a brand new Teenagers Chill Out Room at the Bath RUH Children’s Ward.
At present teenage patients and visitors have a very small box room, with no windows and old, broken/ used equipment and furniture. Not a place where you’d really like to spend any time and nowhere to go when you want to leave your bed and have some time away from those you may be sharing with some teenagers find themselves sharing with toddlers etc….
The work is expected to start at the end of March and Time Is Precious has agreed to raise in the vicinity of £20,000 – £25,000.
On the wish list so far is:
- Flat Screen T.V
- Games Consoles & games
- with the controllers attached for security reasons!
- Computer
- Comfortable seating
- Dimmed lighting
- A relaxed area for reading, relaxing & talking
