Simple Recruitment is delighted to announce that we will be supporting the local based charity Time is Precious. Time is Precious was set up by proud parents Neil and Nicky Halford; whose world was shattered when they said goodbye to their son Ben as he lost his long and brave battle against cancer. Time is Precious aim is to help provide our local hospitals with the equipment and facilities to make life a bit more bearable for young patients and their families. The charity supports not just those children who because of illness or disability find themselves in hospital for treatment, but their families who want to be with them because time spent together is precious. The Simple Recruitment Team will be participating in a number of fundraising events throughout 2016 and aim to raise funds to support the numerous projects carried out by the Charity for local hospitals, as they often need extra funding for resources and equipment as hospital budgets are limited. The charity aims to raise monies to purchase equipment for the children’s and families use during their time in the hospitals such as; iPad’s, Sensory equipment, DVD players, Televisions, parent room essentials, physio supplies, Special Seating and tables, games and any other equipment needed which the Hospital Specialists request. Time is precious will be funding some bigger projects this year, including; a new sensory room and a teenage chill out room at the Bath RUH. A sensory room in Bristol Children’s Hospital and a new waiting room in the Emergency Department at the Yeovil Hospital. Time is Precious is entirely dependent on the generosity of people and companies (including Simple Recruitment), as they do not receive funding from the government or the National Lottery. Our first fundraising event will see Simple Recruitments MD Jayla Wilcox run 13.1 miles in the Bath Half Marathon which takes place on Sunday 13th March.
