Cleansing Operative

The Job:
As a Seasonal Cleansing Operative, you will help keep streets, public areas and surrounding spaces clean, safe and presentable throughout the busy autumn and winter season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leaf blowing and clearing fallen leaves.
• Sweeping and litter picking.
• Weeding and general grounds maintenance.
• Emptying litter bins.
• Operating machinery where required.
• Clearing streets and public areas.
• Removing dead animals, dog fouling and human waste in line with health and safety procedures.
• Carrying out a range of general cleansing and outdoor duties as required.

This is a manual and physically demanding role, so you will need to be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and getting stuck into a range of hands-on tasks.

Location:
Bath – Driving license will be required for this role

About You:
We are looking for someone who is:

• Comfortable working outdoors throughout the autumn and winter months.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual duties.
• Reliable, hardworking and happy to work as part of a team.
• Comfortable handling a variety of cleansing and practical tasks.
• Able to follow health and safety procedures.
• A driver with a full driving licence.
