Production Operative (L3)

The ideal candidate:

Previous food manufacturing experience will help you become competent in the role more quickly and support your long-term career progression.

What will you be doing?

• Using problem-solving skills to keep machinery running effectively
• Setting up production towers and supporting site operations
• Taking samples, performing TA tests, and recording results
• Adjusting machine and SCADA settings to meet specifications
• Working with the team to meet performance and quality targets
• Maintaining audit standards and supporting less experienced staff

What do you need to have?

• Previous experience working within a food manufacturing environment is essential
• A good understanding of food safety principles, HACCP, and GMP
• Full training will be provided; however, a background in food manufacturing is important to support your development into this role
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
• A positive attitude towards teamwork, learning, and continuous improvement
• The ability to work methodically and follow SOPs accurately
• Good numeracy and literacy skills for gathering, recording, and submitting production data
• A full UK driving licence and reliable transport due to the location
