Our client based in near Wincanton are looking for a Stores Person who will be responsible for all the stores activities, dispatching of stock, and managing stock items.

Skills Required:

*Strong attention to detail
*Be able to work unsupervised and meet set deadlines
*Ability to work under pressure, prioritise the workload and multitask
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
*Computer literate
*Be methodical and ensure operating procedures for the stores are enforced on all levels
*Self-motivated, ambitious and enthusiastic

General requirements:

*To answer the phone and pass on messages / deal with enquiries in a friendly and efficient manner
*To look after company equipment and report any damage or breakages.
*Adhere to the Health and Safety procedures at all time
*To contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the stores
*To execute the receiving of stock from suppliers / customers in accordance with defined procedures.
*To execute the dispatching of stock for suppliers / customers in accordance with defined procedures.
*Prepare parcels correctly and in time for collection by courier companies in accordance with defined
procedures.
*To safely store and control all company stock items within SAGE 200.
*To correctly process all stock / items transactions within SAGE 200.
*Maintain effective stock control at all times.
*Take part in stock take
*To email and speak to suppliers where necessary.
*To support other departments and help out where the need arises
