Our client based in Chilcompton are looking for a temporary Sourcing Coordinator to join their team.
Are you a strong Administrator with a good knowledge of Excel? Are you available immediately?
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Work with Planning, Retail, Product Management, Pre-Production and Quality teams to identify suitable products for each program
*Ensure all stages of the production critical path are adhered to and complete on time to ensure on time in full delivery
*Ensure all list of excess materials identified at Provision are updated and accurate at all times
*Assist with the running of production categories (Accessories, Jewellery, RTW, Footwear etc Category TBC) and introduce standard practice to new suppliers
*Work with the Raw Materials Purchasing team to understand and action excess stock levels monthly and seek opportunities for re-sale to external suppliers/third parties.
*Create and update reports on (not limited to):
-Excess material utilisation – monthly
-Delivery Status – weekly
-Any other related KPI reports as required
*Adhoc work as directed by other members of the Sourcing team especially in busy periods, e.g. stock take, project work.
*Work alongside the Purchasing Assistant with day to day admin related tasks.
Skills and Knowledge:
*Experience in a purchasing environment, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
*An advanced level using Microsoft Excel and Reporting Systems, such as Business Objects.
*Strong analytical and numerical skills.
*Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
*Good attention to detail.
*Confident with answering the phone
Rate of pay: 10.25 p/h
Hours: 9am – 5pm (Monday to Friday)
