Service Desk Technician

Bradford on Avon

Our client based in Bradford on Avon are seeking a Service Desk Technician to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis. The successful candidate will be part of a busy technical support team that covers our clients European staff region support tickets and will be a key point of contact and escalation for IT related issues.

Service Desk Technician Hours:

£13.00 – £15.00 per hour, dependant on experience

Service Desk Technician Key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide an exceptional service experience to all of our clients users and staff.
  • Take ownership of technical issues / incidents until the issue has been successfully resolved.
  • Escalating to internal colleagues and teams as appropriate.
  • Assist the ServiceDesk team and the wider IT department with various project related tasks.
  • Working flexibly, visiting other offices, or working outside of core office hours.

Service Desk Technician Requirements:

A successful candidate will have proven hands-on knowledge and understanding of the ServiceDesk process in a technical 2nd / 3rd Line support environment. Have a good working knowledge of IT systems including but not limited to: Virtual Machine environments (VMWare & Hyper-V), Microsoft Server (2019 – 2012), Azure cloud, Bit locker & encryption, Antivirus (Sophos), VPN, Computer / server hardware, phone systems, mobile devices, printing devices, routing, network patching and technical documentation completion.  

Service Desk Technician Hours:

Standard office hours from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 5.30pm.
