Our client based in Barnstaple is looking for a Payroll Clerk to join their busy and successful payroll client services team.
*The ability to effectively control and manage the deadlines of a variety of payroll clients
*Strong and confident communication skills in dealing with clients and staff
*Accuracy and attention to detail
*Experience in many aspects of PAYE and related matters such as Auto Enrolment obligations, Holiday
Pay, Sick Pay and Redundancy calculations
*A working knowledge of employer obligations and the ability to work with HR specialists in supporting
*A genuine interest in this area of work along with a ‘client first’ work ethic
*An all-round strong IT skillset
*Experience in Sage payroll would be of particular advantage
