Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias

Our client based in Radstock is looking for a Maintenance Engineer with Electrical Bias to join their busy team.

Main Purpose of Job:

Preventative maintenance on machines and equipment, responding to emergency machine break downs.
Involvement with new design, installation and movements of existing machines.

Overhaul and repair of machines and equipment ensuring machines and equipment on site are safe, working efficiently and fit for purpose.

Responsible for the service and maintenance arrangements for the fire and intruder alarm systems.
Must be prepared to work overtime and respond to call outs as required in line with the remit of the post.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

*Introduce plant, machine and facility maintenance schedule and keep updated
*Organising installation of new machines and equipment
*Overhaul and upkeep and repair of all plant machines including;
CNC / PLC equipment &Powder Coating process equipment.
*Work with and install single phase / three phase electrical circuits.
*Fault Finding, testing, and the removal or adjustment of existing fittings fixtures and parts.
*Carrying out planned maintenance duties on site.
*Maintaining effective communication – keeping management and relevant parties aware and seeking advice and assistance when required.
*Any other duty as may be required with the grading of the
post and the skill of the post holder.

2pm – 10pm Monday – Friday
