Licensing Officer

Our client based in Trowbridge are seeking a Licensing Officer to join their team on a basis.

Licensing Officer Salary:

£16.02ph           

Licensing Officer Duties:

As a Licensing Officer you will be responsible for enforcing the new COVID-19 regulations and more traditional licensing legislation ensuring a balanced and consistent approach to businesses across the county.

This is a fast paced and varied role in which you will need to have the skills and ability to work within a challenging and ever-changing industry. You will be working with a number of licensing functions to ensure public safety, crime reduction, the reduction of harm from alcohol and night-time economy, gambling, and animal welfare.

Our client are looking for you to have proven experience and knowledge of enforcement, ideally within a public setting, and an understanding of the Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005, and Animal Licensing. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, written and presenting to a range of audiences including members of the public, elected members and external and internal partnership agencies.

Licensing Officer Hours:

37 hours

9am – 5pm
